Preferred Treatment Providers
When a client is first charged with a DUI/DWI offense, we recommend that they complete an approved alcohol treatment program, with evaluation of the client’s drinking habits, and treatment when appropriate. It is recommended that this be completed well in advance of any plea or trial. The Maryland Department of Health and Human Hygiene maintains a list of approved treatment facilities in counties throughout Maryland.
